Welcome back to the NSG Indie Game Roundup, our monthly series featuring indie games news, plus game demos and new release discussions.

If you can believe it, another Steam Next Fest has come and gone. In this installment of the Indie Game Roundup, we're talking demos and discussing the October Steam Next Fest, which took place from October 14-21 and featured over 2600 game demos. We noticed a palpable difference between the fall event and the most recent previous Next Fest in June, and compared notes on these differences, as well as our favorite demos!
